Jedox® Monthly Round Up

February 2025

Welcome to the Jedox Monthly
Newsletter Series

Jedox continues to strengthen its global footprint, expand its network, and deliver meaningful innovations to its enterprise planning platform. From the evolution of the platform and strategic collaborations to thought leadership events and media recognition, each month has offered new developments worth sharing. This newsletter brings you a monthly update from across the Jedox ecosystem, designed to keep you informed and ahead of the curve.

Around the Jedox World

Jedox Global Partner Summit 2025 Frankfurt:

The marquee partner event of the year for Jedox’s ecosystem, was the Global Partner Summit held in Frankfurt, Germany. Astute Dimension was proudly represented by Richard and Raelena Quaine, who over the two days joined more than 150 partner representatives from around the world gathered with Jedox’s leadership and product teams. The summit featured inspiring keynotes, hands-on training workshops, and interactive panels.

CEO Florian Winterstein kicked off Day 1 outlining Jedox’s vision for planning in the age of AI and reinforcing Jedox’s mission and thanking partners for being “one team” with Jedox. The CTO and product managers gave deep-dive sessions into the upcoming 2025.1 release, allowing partners to learn the new features. Numerous partners shared success stories on stage, showcasing how they solved client challenges with Jedox’s platform.

February also saw Jedox have a presence at the CFO Summit in Dubai and the Gartner Data & Analytics Conference.

Platform Tech Update

Jedox 2025.1 – the first major release of 2025 – was officially launched towards at the end of the month. Unveiled initially to partners at the summit (and to customers via webinars and release notes shortly after), 2025.1 introduced a range of enhancements that continue Jedox’s trajectory of innovation:

AI-Powered Model Assistant:

A groundbreaking addition, this AI-driven wizard helps administrators set up basic planning models by conversing in natural language. For example, a user can input “I need a sales planning model with 3 regions, by product line, with a 12-month forecast,” and the assistant will suggest a starter model complete with dimensions, cubes, and logic.

This dramatically lowers the learning curve for new Jedox users and speeds up initial implementation – a feature directly influenced by user feedback and a competitive differentiator in the market.

Advanced Workflow & Approvals:

Jedox 2025.1 introduced a new visual workflow designer for budgeting processes.

Finance teams can now configure multi-step approvals (with conditional triggers) on budget submissions without custom coding. The interface shows a flowchart of who has approved, where bottlenecks are, and sends reminders automatically. This improvement caters to enterprise governance needs, ensuring transparency and control in planning cycles. It was very well received by customers who manage large, distributed budgeting with many stakeholders.

Enhanced Integration and Extensibility:

The release expanded Jedox’s integration options – including a new native connector for Snowflake data warehouse and enhanced APIs for write-back, which allows external applications to push data into Jedox more easily.

Additionally, Jedox Marketplace saw new add-ons, such as a Power BI integration kit, making it simpler to visualise Jedox data in third-party BI tools. These changes reflect Jedox’s commitment to an open ecosystem, something the CTO has championed to stay technically relevant.

2025.1 also includes a host of minor improvements and UX refinements: a refreshed toolbar design in Jedox Web, improved search within the Modeler, and performance optimisations for large rule sets.

Across the Jedox Ecosystem

No major ecosystem updates to share right now, but exciting developments are on the horizon.

What the Press is Saying

Jedox’s high-profile activities in February did not go unnoticed by the press.

The Jedox Global Partner Summit itself garnered media interest; ERP Today magazine ran a piece about the event, highlighting Jedox’s commitment to its partner-centric growth model, complete with a photo of the crowded keynote hall. The article quoted a Jedox regional director: “Our partners are our force multipliers. Bringing them together to share knowledge aligns perfectly with our ‘Lead Together’ philosophy,” capturing the spirit of the summit.

On the partnership announcement, the Grant Thornton Singapore case study was covered in the Asian financial press. The Business Times (Singapore) published a brief noting that Grant Thornton’s adoption of Jedox for its digital finance practice signals rising demand for planning analytics in professional services.
This local validation is valuable as it reaches potential clients in that market with a trusted brand (Grant Thornton) vouching for Jedox.

In product news, after 2025.1’s release, TechCrunch featured a story on “AI in Enterprise Software – 5 Cool Innovations This Quarter.”

Jedox’s AI Model Assistant made the list, with TechCrunch commenting that “Jedox is weaving generative AI deeper into enterprise planning software, pointing to a future where, configuring ERP and EPM solutions could be as simple as chatting with your software.” This mention in a popular tech outlet is a big win for Jedox’s broader visibility, likely attributable to the CMO’s efforts to pitch the innovation to press.

Finally, continuing coverage from last year’s Magic Quadrant accolade seeped into Q1 2025: Computerworld Germany ran a roundup of Planning Software trends and referenced Jedox as a Leader that is “rapidly innovating with AI and making bold moves in the market.” It even cited some lines from Gartner’s report (with permission), reinforcing the achievement.

HostingAdvice.com published a detailed feature on Jedox in February, focusing on how companies can harness the full potential of financial data using Jedox’s AI capabilities jedox.com. It described Jedox’s platform and gave examples of improved data storytelling through its tools. This piece served as both education and endorsement, reaching IT professionals who influence software decisions.
