Platform Tech Update

Jedox released significant platform updates in May 2025, focusing on automation, AI, and an improved user experience. Here’s a summary of what’s new (explained in plain language):

Excel and Word Integration Improvements:

Acknowledging that many finance pros love Excel, Jedox’s May update supercharged its Excel integration. New dynamic array and extended interaction features now bring the powerful “Dynarange” functionality (previously in Jedox web reports) into Excel 365 jedox.com. Reports in Excel can automatically expand or contract rows based on the latest data – no more manual resizing when accounts or products are added. Additionally, Jedox introduced direct Word integration for narrative reporting: you can embed live Jedox data (views) into Word documents, such as management reports, and they auto-update when data changes jedox.com. This eliminates tedious copy-paste cycles and ensures your Word-based reports are always up-to-date with the single source of truth.

Better Dashboards and Branding:

Jedox has made it easier to create attractive, on-brand dashboards without IT help. The update added native chart widgets in Jedox’s Canvas dashboards, so users can insert charts (bar, line, waterfall, etc.) directly on a dashboard and configure them with a few clicks jedox.com. This saves time – no need to build charts in spreadsheets first – and makes dashboarding more drag-and-drop. Alongside this, a new “Themes” feature lets companies apply their corporate branding (logos, colours, fonts) across Jedox reports and interfaces jedox.com. With a centralised theme setting, every chart and report can automatically use your brand’s look and feel, ensuring consistency and saving manual formatting work jedox.com.

(Your finance reports can now look polish and professional, aligned with your brand guidelines – a nice win for CFOs focused on presentation quality.)

Across the Jedox Ecosystem

No major ecosystem updates to share right now, but exciting developments are on the horizon.

What the Press is Saying

Jedox’s momentum is making waves in the press. Here are a couple of notable articles from May 2025 featuring Jedox:

The CFO Magazine – “AI’s Role in Forecasting and Budgeting” (May 2, 2025):

Virtuenet (Finance Tech Blog, Indonesia) – Coverage of Jedox CFO Roundtable (May 16, 2025):

The Indonesian tech press also featured Jedox this month.
